St. Mary's 2050: Charting Our Tomorrow - Online Surveys
Earlier this year, members of the community shared their future vision for the County. Three short surveys have been created to build a consensus around ideas that were shared during the initial phase of this project. Take advantage of this opportunity to share your priorities and values prior to the development of St. Mary’s 2050.
Welcome to Community Engagement Window #2!
Earlier in the year, all members of the community were asked to share their future vision for St. Mary’s County. Community Engagement Window #1 (CEW #1) provided residents, business owners, and community partners the opportunity to voice their opinions during Community Visioning Sessions which included small-group discussions, mapping exercises, and survey questions. The County hosted 12 Community Visioning Sessions (10 in-person, 2 virtual). For members of the community that could not attend one of the sessions, visioning activities were made available to complete online.
Your participation during Community Engagement Window #2 (CEW #2) will help to provide a deeper understanding of certain opinions relating to key land use planning themes expressed during CEW #1. To make participation easy, these follow-up questions have been arranged (by topic) into three short surveys, which can be completed at local community events (such as festivals and farmers markets). However, just as with CEW #1, the surveys are available for completion online through the end of June.
